Let's Eat! - A Collection of Family Recipes is creating a cookbook which will be released in 2021 with 100% of the proceeds going directly to MS Research Australia.

Until the release of our cookbook, we will be releasing traditional Greek recipes as we test them out in our kitchen and the kitchens of family & friends 😉

In our opinion, Lazarakia are the Greek equivalent to Hot Cross Buns...but Greekified with the aromatic mahlepi!

Lazarakia  are traditional Greek Easter breads eaten on Lazarus Saturday. They symbolise the resurrection of Lazarus and are shaped like a little man wrapped in a shroud

Lazarus breads are Lenten as they don’t contain any eggs or dairy products. They are absolutely delicious and easy to make.
