Dolmades with Silverbeet (Ντολμαδάκια με ρύζι)

Another classic recipe that Mama Eleni makes very well are dolmades, made with rice and wrapped in silverbeet.


This is totally vegetarian, actually vegan! Every ingredient is plant based, however you can add meat to make it non-vegan/vegetarian.


I prefer the plant based version because they are wrapped in wonderfully fresh silverbeet and packed with dill, mint and parsley that come directly from Mama Eleni's garden.



Just add lemon juice & some water before cooking...



These dolmades are the best served at room temperature with a delicious wedge of feta, some Kalamata olives and a good continental bread...and a shot of ouzo, of course!



Serving Suggestion: Add a dollop of Greek yoghurt! YUM!!
